Hey guys im heading to the wreckers on sunday this week and if i were to pick up lets say a xr6 ecu from an eb-el would it make piss all difference in my car its only a gli and how hard is it to change over just plug and play or more?

not sure would it would do power wise, but to change em over just take the plastic thingy off where in the LHF footwell. then there will be metal clip that holds the ecu in place (just unscrew this) and lastly to disconnect the ECU you will need a 10ml spanner (ring is prefferable) and unscrew the bolt ontop off the wiring connectors. piss easy to do really

you can't grab an EF ECU though, as it won't work!
