Long answer is yes!
I installed a EL handle into my EA, the only thing I had to change was the push rod inside the handle. IIRC the EA one was too long. I made my one up from scratch.

Any push button style shift handle will work, magna style ones and aftermarket ones which a push button style ontop or side will work. i think e30-34 bmw ones might even work to come to think of it.

i also had my auto leather stitched by someone in black/momo style..

(excuse the large pic) lol

mine cost about the $150 odd mark with black stitched handbrake too (think i got the lid done at the same time in suede too? not sure? .. hrm!)
