Hello guys,
Just wanted some advise as to how to fix a problem I'm having.
My el2 xr8 when it's cold it hesitates to sit in gear when taking off, if I let her warm up for a couple of minutes before I drive she is fine.
Is this a transmission, diff gears, or is it as simple as getting a transmission service.
If it's the gear box i will look into getting it converted to manual.

I brought the car from a dealer 4-5months ago and I havint had the transmission serviced yet,
I got a huge scare when I was driving out my drive way last night and it was in 'Drive' but was rolling back like it was in neutral I was only little revving and then all of a sudden an almighty bang happened!! Then it slammed into gear

Didn't sound healthy at all..

Check the fluid level. While you are at it, check the colour of the fluid.

How many Km on the car/

How many Km have you done since you got it?

Probably needs a good service and system flush.
