Occasionally when I go to start my car the engine cranks but doesn't seem to have enough power to turn over and start. When that happens I try again and it starts usually without a hitch. Does anyone have any ideas/experience with this sort of problem? I've had my car hooked up to a computer and no obvious problems were shown. Fuel pressure, coils and battery all seemed fine. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful.
Cheers! |

Hi Mate,
I had a similar issue with my ED falc. Have you checked the starter motor? My car would try to start (car sounded like it does when the battery is almost dead) but wouldn't first try. Then when I tried again it would start. It's worth a try if you haven't already done that. I got stuck in a westfields carpark for 6 hours when it finally died on me as I didnt know what the issue was lol. So check that. Could also try a simple ECU reset as well by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 20 mins. Steve.
