I hope I got this under the appropriate forum/area.

Read carefully and be aware not to miss any thing.

My heater flaps/blend doors are broken due to force from the old mixture shaft, so I know the heater box has to be removed - does anybody have any instructions on how to remove?

Forums I've read say I have to drop the coolant and release the air con gas to pull the thing out, any help would be greatly appreciated.

At the end of this, I might try and do a guide on how to remove the heater box.
