Hey guys I've got this ef wreck and funnily enough the front end feels way nicer than my eb daily. The front in the eb is mint and has been full reco'd (new shocks/ball joints/bushes etc) I was just curious why the ef is so much nicer? would it be different arms/stub axles or something? It feels way less go-kart like than the eb for some reason I'd figure it'd be a pretty good upgrade to the old eb.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Cheers |

there are a few minor changes in geometry.
but my first thaught is what bushes were used in the eb? if it was fitted with urathane bushes this will give a slightly harsher feel over factory used rubber.. also what springs and shocks are in the eb? |

K Frame is a big player in that. Also the EF/EL has a 27mm front sway bar compared to the EB/ED 24mm. The 27mm swaybar can be fitted to the EB/ED.
Check all your front bushes, see what condition they are in. |

The EF/EL lower arms have much larger pivot bushes - that've a fair difference in NVH.
I think the front radius bushes may be larger as well - the EL's do have an extra retainer welded to the K frame to help rigidity of the front radius arm bush, which the EF doesn't.
