Mate, its the bush that attatches the upper control arm to the shock tower. The only difference is the length of the thread that goes through the shock tower. I really do not understand why so many people need them, just thinking in an engineering sense. You see, if you need longer bolts, so as to fit more shims in, would that not mean that your towers are moving inwards???
I believe that alot of it comes down to the fact that its such a mongrel of a job to properly align a Falcon front end, that its just easier to fit more shims than try to get it all back to a base line setting. If you need that much length in the shims over what the car had from factory, something is amiss. Lower control arm bushes would account for neg camber in the front, and might need replacing.....

so its a longer bolt with some spacers basically. my story is i had my wheels aligned by about 2 or 3 different places and it was still chewing my tyres finally they got the aligment machine to chew out some stats sheet on the wheels angles etc Apparently i required a chamber kit. I got pedders to fit the shims type chamber kit with balance and wheel alignent for $250. good price i thought. now the problem is fixed it aint pulling to the left and in time will show if it chews as i have good tyres on the fronts. Or infact it may aswell be the lower control arm or something like that. Next time i service the car and have it on the hoist i will look out for these new shims or bolts on the arms. in the mean time any1 with a pic and wants to be creative with there paint brush feel free :) thanks for the help guys.

It's not too hard to scan up a pic so here you go.
You might be able to see them if you turn your wheels to full lock.
