I recently had problems with the instrument cluster going crazy:
Tacho redlined - even at idle
Speedo showing approx. half or less of actual speed
loud beeping
and other abnormal indications.

Thinking it was probably wiring I "poked/prodded/jiggled" under the dash without finding any thing.

Next I pulled the Engine fuse, thinking this might reset everything.

So now everything appears to be working, EXCEPT the LCD area shows Kilometres but DTE area is blank i.e. no DTE or trip computer.

Does anyone know how to fix this - any advice appreciated.
