any ideas
2 ford au1 1 is ute is fairmont with vct engine 99mdl 1 is xr6 tickford with vct engine 99mdl i swapped ecus over to give my ute adaptive shift l waited half hour with ignition left on ute would spin over but not start xr6 did nothing bit lost looking for reasons any ideas ppl?????????????? thanks ppl |

are you sure the ute isn't series 1.5? smartlock remote but smartsheild?

bcm has to be compatible to.... you could try swapping both.

both 99 mdl you were right the xr6 has a transponder key so it must be a 1.5 didnt even think of it ohwell back to the drawing board just need the right ecu for my bitza ute |
