Hi folks, just wondering: Is the ECU used on a "hybrid" engine any different to that used on any other EL engine? I.E.: is the hybrid really anything special?
I have noticed that my ECU is 6DDC, which equates to a Fairlane ECU with an update. (Maybe this answers my question ) |

Yes, the engine is a hybrid, and as I notice you are in Koowee, which is about 200k's from me, so it's not a proposition to look at the parameters atm.
I'm just curious though, as I did, a while back, put in an ECU from a Futura wagon, and really couldn't tell any difference. As I said, maybe I have answered my own question..... |

I wouldn't expect it to be too much different. maybe a different ve table due to a different cam
