out of a xr6 ute do i need to replace the tail shaft |

yes, you will need the 5 speed ute tailshaft..

cause it is a xr6 box does it have to be a tailshaft out of a xr6 or can u use a standed au manual tailshaft

AU T5 is the same for a Forte or an XR. No difference. Use any AU Manual Tailshaft.
