hmmm,
Occasionally get the odd thing happening again with the LED light, also same problem at times with the incandescent bulb, ended up not using any of them just yet, using head torch if need be to collect items from inside of car at night. Very problematic finding the root cause. Bondy |

TedW,
Never had any "door ajar" lights come up or any alarm sound, dome light slide switch is integrated with main light switch. I've checked wiring under and around seats about 10 times. No wires jammed. Cheers |

need it playing up -disable switch circuit for any door you need open while testing
allow for time delay to time out........ connect a test light to positive battery terminal with a length of wire -check for earth at interior light in roof connection (blue/black wire) while still connected to wiring disconnect BEM connections if light stays on check wiring from BEM to all lights (output circuits from BEM to lights) if light goes out start testing switch circuits into BEM - does forescan show any information for BEM module. example -"doorajar"? do you have map lights or similar with switches to change them from door/off/on ? |

TedW,
Ok, I'll do that test and see what transpires. I have not done a full forscan test, there was an error code initially but that related to radiator temperature sensor...I don't have one installed on my radiator expander / filler tank. I have map lights with separate switches, both were changed to LED some time ago, everything works well , have no problem with map lights or map light switches. |
