Got an EF Fairmont not too long ago and the front door actuator is playing up on it. Using the remote I can't get the front drivers door to lock or unlock but the other 3 doors will lock and unlock just fine. The plastic red rod goes up and down however.
What's weird is that I can use the key to lock/unlock the front door, but doesn't seem to affect the other 3 doors. If I lock/unlock the passenger door with the key, the back door actuators respond by locking/unlocking, but not the front drivers door. Basically the drivers door doesn't want to communicate with the other 3 doors. Do I need yet another drivers door actuator, have I hooked it up wrong somehow so the door doesn't lock mechanically? Any help would be great. |

That little hook that goes on the end of the actuator.
I think that's what would connect the electrical and mechanical part of the lock? |
