Hi,
My Woman is need of a new Car, and I am looking at a " B " series. Are the BF's so much better, or is a BA worth buying as it will be cheaper. I would like an XR6, same question though. Is it worth spending more to buy one ? Any major issues with them other than the ignition switch ?

Heaters snap mixer shafts, trans cooler on the 4 spd auto s**t them selves. Diffs and diff bushes, coils, rust in the boot gutters, front bars sag, interior plastic is easily broken, shifter cables break on the 4 spd, tail shaft Centre bearing, indicator stalk wire break (usually only buggering up the auto headlight feature).
Probably more that ive left out. Not all of them have these problems but they are common enough to be mentioned.mines done the indicator stalk wire, front bar sag, coils(supposed to be thrown every 100.000km anyway) and shifter cable since ive owned it and 2 door trims have broken handles but one was my own fault.

Hi,
We got a very nice original BA XR6. Pristine condition, and just over 100 thousand K's. I hope we get a good run out of it, pick it up tomorrow. Thanks for the Post, the ignition switch is the only one I am really concerned about.
