Hey guys, got an issue getting my BF fairlane to run on gas ever since cleaning the spark plugs. I have already bought new sparkies and checked for any leaks, none of which I can find. I have isolated the problem down to the either the mixer itself of where the mixer meets the throttle body, although I cant seem to feel/find a leak between the mixer and throttle. So I say its the mixer because the only way to get the gas going was to switch it over while running on petrol. It would then die if you tried to idle it. After fiddling around with the mixer (moving it around) I can now get it to idle although it is idling quite roughly as if it isn't getting enough gas, i also can't start it on gas. The gas will idle the mixer in one position yet if you move it slightly it will die, etc. I guess my question is whether or not any of you guys have had a silimar issue? and whether or not it was a problem with the mixer? and if you guys have any idea what could be wrong with the mixer to be causing this issue?
