Anywhere local to Blacktown that I can get to with club rego. Must be able to properly tune the Cleveland in my XC. Has a 351 with 780 Vac sec. Holley and MSD dizzy. C4 with 2300 hi-stall and 3.00:1 rear. I want it done properly, secondaries tuned, power valve, accelerator pump etc. Last one I'm sure just kept advancing the ignition till it pinged all day so that I had to remove the Vac. advance.

What about Hume Performance? If anyone should know how to properly tune a Holley I suspect these guys might. Anyone had any experience with their work? They even have a video of a Clevo powered XD on the dyno on their website.

Only guy I know in Sydney that does great work is Joe from Crescent motors.

I have been trying to get this guy to fix up a bodged cam he sold me and tune the car and all I get is no cant help you to busy.

I'd also say Cresent Motorsports. Even if he cannot help out, I know he is happy to refer you to someone else who may be able to assist. Granted alot of the work he does is EFI based, I am more then certain that he could direct you to a few highly regarded Carb tuners. there are plenty round, they are just old school and not online. OR Grab youself a few Ford magazines, shops always advertise in them , especially old tech shops.

Joe does have a pretty solid Reputation. I've known him for a long time, not everything he does always goes to plan, BUT, thats life, some of us move on from it, others like to dwell.

Give Joe a call and see when he can get you in. I know he has had 3 carby jobs in there in the last few months at least and there is a Torino in there now.



Yes, Joe does do alot of his work on BA-FG Turbo, as that is the bulk of the work these days and these guys have the cash. But he still does E series, AU's etc. I have 2 and he works on them.

As for your cam issue, I have never seen him say he is too busy to help.I have never had an issue with the man and he has always been there to help me and others when needed. As Johnson said, "Move On".

I have moved on and have just got rid of the car
the curse of owning a e series has gone
considering I paid for the work up front witch included a chip and dyno tune then when the cam problem issue was put in the two hard basket I was pushed to the side and forgotten about.
in high sight this guy owes me a cam and a tune.
