Hi Guys,
This has been brought up a few times before but was just wondering if anyone has any recent experience with GPS tracking units? Just want something that can tell me when the car is moving and it shouldn't be. And ideally have a backup battery to alert me that power has been cut to the unit if someone tries to remove it. And don't want stupid annual subscription fees. I know there are now countless options out there so hopefully someone has experience with one. Cheers.

Most of the Cheap Ebay units will do all of that. Additionally, you can turn off fuel pumps using SMS.
might have to be creative about how, but you can use Overspeed (set it low), GeoFence (set a tight geo area for the car to be in), lots of options. Some of the other ones also include remote locking. Id ignore that, but with them you can also remote lock and unlock the car from your phone Nigel |
