So we managed to rip out everything air con related prepared to remove the drive train.

whilst removing the gearbox we found the T5 has been overhauled and found a Billet Products short shifter fitted to it .....Score!..... also the tailshaft is new with brand spanking uni joints :)

Motor was pulled apart to clear our limited headroom in the carport and found the piston tops and cylinder bores have been recently done (also previous owner said it has a reground cam in it

found this car has had beefed up swaybars front and rear as well :)

Now i will get in the engine bay and weld up all the holes from the air con system and clean up that ugly silicon joins on the firewall and the towers

Does anyone know where i can get the white clips that hold the XR headlights on to the adjusting rod things .......found that the high beams are all broken :(

@DOHCED : yeah man boxcars have always been fun (didnt want to boost it , V8 boxcars are rarely seen nowdays) , why didnt you finish the ED-BA project ?
