Would a tune help the engine not feel so sluggish?

To me the motor feels tired and takes a bit to get up and going then other times it doesn't. I have been thinking about changing the oil in the diff, would this help at all with performance or not? its not LSD.

Ive also been thinking about putting a different engine in the car either a EF or EL 6cyl low KM my ED motor has about 260000+km plus im getting sick of the belt squeal everytime i start it up.

My first idea was to just put a serpentine conversion to get rid of all the belts and free up some space for the thermos but still unsure on what to do hehe smile.

New update for this car is. Its getting Repainted. Ive decided to tidy it up abit as the paint on it now doesnt look very good at all, It was my 1st big respray and it shows the roof is dry and its not very glossy at all. So ive decided to respray it and give it a new look.

The new colour is Jet Black with Ghost Blue Pearl over the top Something very different. The wheels are also different wont be 18"s, the wheels are the Ford 16"s that were on the Ghia but will also get a freshen up.

Ive completed step 1 which was to see how the wheels looked Gloss Black with a Polished Lip and I like how they have turned out.

Thats it for the outside. Inside Im thinking of painting the interior plastics gloss black as well or leave them blue or do them a different blue.

Engine wise really not sure. Ill be repainting the EL rocker cover I have in a Blue Metallic Pearl. I reckon will look good in a black engine bay

I may source a AU 6cyl and drop that in but we will have to wait and see.

Thats it for now. :)

Long time no update.

Not much has been happening to car just a bit of tidying up and small mods.

Got my hands on a 2nd hand set of 4480's for $150 bargain & finally painted my sprint lip and stuck that on it's changed the whole look of the car. At the same time as doing the front lip I cut off my aircon belt as it's never worked and I don't use it, engine revs a bit more freely now.

Slowly replacing bushes as well just did rear trailing arms.

A few pics of the changes

And a pic of the ghia being towed to my mums place before selling it

That's it for now

A little project I'm working on is cutting the clear flat with 1500 wet and buffing it up shiny, the clear is pretty hard now so it's a bit time consuming but I think it's working well
