Hi all, can anyone guide in how to weld a sleeve in my original CAT, as in do I need to space in between the flanges to account for the flange gaskets-& if so by how much, cheers, Johnny.
P.s, not original (its a hi flow)-but my exhaust thats already in my ute to meet up with new engine & extractors. p.p.s upon thinking on this can I just use a couple of old gaskets or washers of similar thickness?-sorry never welded any exhausts before

No need to set any spacing.
Just shove an old gasket in there if you are worried. There is enough play and clearance in the exhaust to allow for the gasket thickness. |
