Hey guys i need help ASAP as its driving me insane and trying to sell my car. couldn't find an exact post like my issue

.. so all 3 doors lock except the driver door i just spent $15 on a second hand central locking mech for front driver door, installed it and it keeps doing the same thing. btw (both locks on the outside have been covered with fiberglass and painted by previous owner) so i can only use the remote. i press it and sounds like all 4 doors lock and the driver actuator works i see go down. but can freely open the driver door from outside and upon opening it doesnt unlock any of the other doors. so is it simply the driver door lock itself??

i assumed opening the door would at least trigger the other doors to unlock... cheers

has the rod from the locks been disconnected? ... it's either being stopped from full travel or is not able to do a 'full travel' [as in the locking mech]

link from actuator to lock assembly is disconnected or missing -
does it also have a central locking switch on dash ?

If you see the sniper button go down but the door doesn't lock then the actuator lock inside the door (that runs onto the striker) is buggered...

Had one myself... Where the lever is that the actuator pushes on, you'll be able to see the pivot point on that lever before it disappears inside, it'll be snapped at that point... They get stiff and then the actuator pushes and just snaps the lever at the pivot point... You'll need a replacement lock (not actuator)... They're a pain to get out... Need to disconnect all the rods and try and wiggle it out... If you bend the rods to get the lock out it may be more of a pain in the a** then properly disconnecting all the rods and wiggling it to get it out...
