Who still sells engine stuff for xr6 e series?

Want flat top +60 pistons, rings, over sized bearings to suit crank grind.
Wont ever need forged pistons or anything top dollar. Just a basic rebuild but not going overboard.

Thanks in advance

Not going overboard? Why go 060 pistons then? 030 or 040 will do and give room for another build down the track.
But try precisionintl.com.au they will have everything for you

Maximum cubic capacity. The pitons will likely cost the same, right?
Dont need another build out of the block, theyre worthless. Once spent, just get another $50 block and bore that out.

Thanks for the link I will get on there now and look.

Cheers

Wont be doing either at $150 per piston! and only a Hypertec too.
Id prefer to kill myself than pay that.

Ive been out of the loop for so long.. s**t I expected a set of FORGED pistons to be worth $900..

Thanks for the update.

ahahaha Amen!
But wouldnt it be only 1 1/3 times over?

At least you can still buy fairly priced kits for the v8 and Barra.
I look at them on ebay with green eyes.

Based on the ACL website, it looks like you can only go up to 40 thou oversize with the E-Series 4.0L pistons. I don't know if they still make them though.

Have you tried Repco, Bursons, Auto Pro and Autobarn for prices? The guys doing the machining can usually do you a deal on parts and reboring.

I added 1 to cart thinking $150.. and sure enough the total was $900 for 6.
Unless I DID click on something that was forged, and just didnt realise is. The word standard was in the title so not sure.

I will look again with renewed enthusiasm.
