Nothing much to Report on the car other than Melting the Top Clutch pack in the ESS Transmission,

We Replaced it with a Spare box as a Temporary measure While i send the ESS Box off to a friends workshop at Rosebery to have it Built Ford Tough.

Oil came like liquid Silver, So I'd say it has worn into the drums quite a bit as well, so New Solenoids might be needed not to mention a higher volume pump and Alloy pan to help prevent torsional twisting the the transmission casing.

Threw the old girl back on the dyno and did some timing changes, we pulled 8 degrees out and gained 11kw over the old figure, but the run was cut short at 6500 as the box Spat the dummy and crapped outs its convertor pump seal, this was fitted to the box prior to the runs ... maybe we got a little over zealous lol

anyway Pics..

Log from the Dyno Run, engine is moving 1300+ KG/HR Worth of Air at top end!

Also been trying a new way of Datalogging the car..

Fuel trims were within 1-1.5% after some quick dialing in of the MAF, down from the 2.1-2.5% Variances.

and the Final run...during this run the box cried enough and begged for mercy ...

Got Told that the car is putting out roughly 550nm of Torque out at the rears... So yay!

The guys are pulling the box out on monday and checking out the seal and replacing if required for some more fun on Monday night!

just in time to cruise to the new job on tuesday (Fingers Crossed!!)

Well,

She is up and running, and running STRONG.
Car now boils the 19s rear tyrese, breaks out sideways when tromping the loud pedal rolling at 60..

The 3.5" Alloy Donuts and Tubing has arrived for the new intake pipe,
Just awaiting the HPX Sensor and Flange so the pipe can be completed.

There is some electrical gremlins which are causing some problems, we swapped out the Loom to go back to USCAR injector plugs and a Stock TPS.. but the Loom appears to be corroded within the insulation causing erratic voltage spikes in the TPS and ECT Circuits.

After making a phone call to a Friend at Ford, $1024 for a New Engine loom and it is a 8 Week Wait special order.

Awaiting to hear from a friend to see if all the connectors can be purchased separately so we can make our own, just alittle bit longer as well to help gain clearance around the new fuel rails and plumbing. Otherwise I'll just spend the hooker money on a new loom from Ford.

All Rubber lines in the car have been replaced with E85 Approved Nylon Braided host, Fuel pump is a Walbro 400LPH E85 Pump and the Aeromotive Reg, Rails and Reg are also E85..

Engine now has 11.85:1 Compression and Lifters have the classic type writer sound that i am used to! Although engine builder says he can get them quieter.

A Few people.
Also planning a Transmission Swap with a stronger item and have an external controller for it.

Looks like BTR #7 has bitten the dust... we lost 100rwkw+ on the dyno.. she only made 181rwkw!

Just chuck a TH400 with a manual valve body and a gear vendors over drive unit in it and call it a day. You've blown that many gear boxes that unless you got your rebuilds done for free the above option would have worked out cheaper.

Already have a 4L80e Planned for the car,
Got the trans Controller, Harness.

Bellhousing has been designed and is in the process of being cast up so I can use my Factory Flex plate and starter motor...

Even worked out how to get the gear indicator functional on the AU Cluster and use the ESS Buttons with it!
Gear Shifter has been sorted as well so I can use the factory surround but use a difference mechanism for cable drive
