Need a quick bit of help, a mate is on the other side of Aus (Port Hedland, where you would stick the tube if the world needed an enema) with a P0443 error, my son isn't around today to have a look at his BA and I can not remember where the carbon canister is, the mate has already pulled off the passenger inner guard and only found the vacuum reservoir etc under there.

Did you get to the bottom of it?
I've just got this code, haven't had time to look around properly yet. Can't find much on the net |

For the BF (should be BA as well?)
Sedan :The carbon canister is mounted on the body adjacent to the tank on the other side of the exhaust pipe and above the IRS. Wagon : The carbon canister is mounted on the fuel tank Nigel |

Thank you Nigel, i cleaned the purge valve electrical connections today but found the hose to the throttle body was full of fuel just past the one way valve.
I'm guessing that the canister is full as well, is this a serviceable item? Cant find anywhere that sells them, might try emptying it. |

If anyone is looking, the part number for the solenoid purge valve is 96fb-9c915.
Seems a lot of european models use the same valve. |
