Hi guys is the smart lock modul next to the fuse box on a v8 el wagon? Its a greay box do i chop and join the wires behind it to get it to start? Cheers any help will be good.

Smartlock is part of the BCM.
Located under the dash left of the steering column near the left knee when seated in the drivers seat. |

The only smartlock related thing the bcm controls directly is the starter motor and the dash warning lamp The ecu stops the injectors firing unless it receives the enable signal from the bcm
