Hey guys
I am retrofitting a btr into an old mustang, and am using an FG Shifter and assembly with a cable. I have heard that you can fit the BA SSS with the use of some wiring and perhaps a control box, and wouldn't mind trying to adapt it to this shifter. I've found some threads on retrofitting the SSS to other models, but can't find any info on the control box or the wiring. Is the control box something you have to rip out of a BA, or is it an aftermarket kit people are getting from somewhere. Any help appreciated Cheers Simon |

Given you need to control the BTR thru an ecu...I would suggest using a BA PCM and then wiring in the shifter would be easy

I was just wondering how the wiring for the SSS went, not the tranny itself Cheers |

I think the TS/TE's had something similar not sure if the AU ecu is capable of doing this
