Being a newbie to sedans [ been in 4x4's for 15 years] went to a zorst shop today who only recommends Pacemakers "everything else is crap" but then went to a Performance shop who specialize in Fords who said Herrods are marginally better for a lot more ....
So i guess wanna cut the crap and get some first hand experianced answers P L E A S E

IMO you can't go wrong with pacemakers, excellent design, plenty of flow and they are reasonably priced. I believe the Herrod headers are 4-1 design (unless they have changed) which will give you a touch more peak power but you will loose that in the low to mid range (which is far more important for on road performance).

Thanx for that , was quoted $600 for the Pacemakers supply only and $200 to fit up ...Herrods $950 supply only $250 to fit up.
The system was basicaly the same between the dealers , 2and 1/2 inch from extractors back to Hiflow mufflers then 2and 1/4 for back pressure ....$650 for system fitted oh and mandrel bent .
I was amazed at the price difference between D&T Performance $950 for the system in mild steel and Exhaust Torque of $650 in mild steel

Prices are reasonable, you can get the pacemakers for around $500 if you are lucky, $600 isn't bad though. $200 is a bit rich for installation, its about 30-60mins work and should cost around $100.

$650 for the exhaust is also a little rich IMO, off the shelf redback systems can be got for around $400 and would only take an exhaust shop 15mins to install. I would stick with 2 1/2 all the way, there is no need to go down to 2 1/4 for back pressure, it will only be restriction and serve to keep the exhaust fairly quiet if that is what you are after.

I agree with EDXR8, go with the Pacemakers and shop around a bit more. They can be found cheaper.
