The story goes a little more in depth than just this motor, but also the 351 previous to this, that they fixed, just to have same problem within 1st 1,000km, realising the block was no good (can't remember exactly, but something to do with valve lifters aswell i believe). but yes i should of been a lot more clearer at the start where that 15K was spent... My biggest issue with them is not being able to guarantee any of the work that's been done! i even offered to pay the $1,200-$2,000 for them to fix it, if they would guarantee the work... When they wouldn't agree to that, is when Thing's got a bit heated up, because what are they doing working on it in the first place if they can't guarantee the work??

Hello,

I was under the impression that the work would have had to be covered by a warranty, how far have you looked into this ? The response I would expect is no warranty on a race engine. They fitted it to a road car though. It sounds as though you will end up out of pocket, so at least be a pain to them. The MTA or other group may help.

You wont have been the first, nor the last to get taken for a ride. Ring around and ask for quotes, you can then tell your story to their competition. Everyone like to know the dirt on their competition !

Yes that's the impression i was under also... My original request was for a stock 351 set up to run straight gas, for a solid everyday car! Which i was quoted around $8,000 hence the $9,000 deposit and the follow up services also... It just seems easier to cut my losses unfortunately :-/
