Hi there
Wondering if anyone has purchased a non genuine coolant recovery tank from eBay and had any problems with it? I need to replace mine and found aftermarket units for $45 posted which is quite cheap compared to genuine. They offer the same 20,000k or 12 Month warranty as Ford do and a particular aftermarket seller has sold over 200 units. |

ive brought a few of them, as i hate the s**t brown colour they end up.
i haven't had any issues with them. the only thing i could point out is i did have to grind the metal tap off the cap a little to make it fit but other than that still going strong.

Try this store:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121171510746 (choose the right one for your car) They sell genuine stuff without the ridiculous markup. Some people have found that the non-genuine tanks split and leak. It probably depends what aftermarket one you get, as I think there are more than 1 manufacturer. |

I bought two: one for my EF and one for my AU2. They work just fine - no issues at all.
