hey guys iv just picked up a tickford motor for fifty bucks :D and want to put the head on my ef what sort of difference in power if any would i be looking at or would it be easier to put new rings in the tickford motor and put that in my ef

Head and Cam and fuel reg are the only difference between the XR6 Motor and the Std motor.

Just slap the head, cam and fuel reg on yours.

sorry guys forgot to mention the head and cam have been worked so just whacking the tickford head on me ef and off i go im pretty new to this sort of stuff

yes but if you run all the tickford gear without the ecu you will run a tad rich.
due to it over fueling.

i had that issue in my el when i had a issue with my ecu and had to run a stock ecu for a couple of months before i found another tickford one.

but if your running a J3 chip then you dont need to worry about that.

If you don't have the Tickford ECU, use the std Fuel Reg.
