There is a Ford 6 cyl head for sale in my area, the seller wants $800 for it, he built the head himself, its been fully reconditioned and ported with oversized valves, a Jim Mock Motorsport Cam, adjustable timing gear, modified rockers and heavy duty valve springs, all brand new. Just was getting a second opinion on what you guys think, is it worth buying? I have been told many times that it is a waste of money and wouldnt make any difference on my engine, im still not toosure, what do yous think?

I've got a CMS Stage 3 head with 2a cam in it, I reckon its worth it but maybe instead of getting someones home job have a look into what CMS can do for you.

yeah i live in mackay and ive looked at CMS and there head and cam packages cost alot more than $800 then you have freight on top of that.
Also the guy who built this head is actually a professional engine builder and works for a well known and trusted engine rebuild shop where my uncle has had work done and is very happy with them.

What jmm cam? A ported head and cam will gain you noticeable results along with a tune
