the pedal assembly can be repaired or replaced with another unit [auto] which will be cheap. can also buy a replacement pedal pin. don't know if the EA to EL are the same as the AU, but here's a link for the EA/EL

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-EA-EB-ED-EF-EL-Falcon-Fairlane-Manual-Clutch-Pedal-Pin-Kit-XR6-XR8-/261731520654?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cf06a108e

if it's the same as the AU .. grab a cheap auto one & fit pin etc etc

Hi Robert

You can get yourself a second hand AU manual pedal box on ebay for $170.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-AU-MANUAL-PEDAL-BOX-/181710071362?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item2a4ec3a642

Its not a massive task to replace, just need to disconnect the brake assembly (remember how you took it off so you can return it the same way), undo the 10mm bolt and pin from the steering column and slide up to make room and then the (from memory) remove the 6 off 13mm bolts holding the pedal box in. It will come out however you may need to wriggle it around and get the right angle.

The other option is to remove your pedal box and repair it.....

Good luck
