Hi I have a pretty big problem with my EF, as stated I have no lights it had a electronic brake controller and when the switch is used it used to turn the lights on now it has no lights on at all and one of the circuit breakers under the bonnet are tripping and resetting, any ideas on what is the problem?

Yeah I tried that but no dice also I should add that the park light relay got really hot for the relay to get 'hot' it needs either a very heavy load/direct short. maybe something was either wired wrong or maybe shorting out somewhere? has anything been disturbed re trailer wiring or boot? or anywhere else? |

Hello,
The Park light circuit has nothing to do with the brakes. If the brake controller is for towing, check the trailer socket for water / corrosion or shorted wiring. Kids also stick Coins in them.
