Hey , I have a drama with my 351 in XW runs fine but when you put your foot down it just stops or holds back till you lift the boot you have to just ease the pedal down once you get up in the revs a bit or it does it every time. I thought it was carby so swapped with another and still the same timing is fine thought it could be timing chain so replaced with new rollmaster set and dialled in cam while at it. new plugs MSD Leads. could bosch electronic distributor be the problem. any ideas

Problem was faulty hall effect sensor in dizzy. Bosch don't make replacements anymore. Can get aftermarket one but does anyone know if they are any good. also would the sensor out of a six cylinder Bosch dizzy work they look the same. I have a couple laying about that I could rip one out of.
