Ok, so I recently purchased an XH ute with a Tickford engine in it which includes a BBM manifold as well as a manual conversion.
I've asked the guy I bought the car off and he reckons he never changed the ECU in the thing and the solenoid for the BBM is certainly not doing jack, as one would expect. I more recently came into possession of an XR6 manual ECU, which I suspect is from an EF. I wanna slap it in, but I'm concerned about it being compatible as the engine uses a dizzy and single coil, rather than coil pack and CAS. What's my best course of action? |

Ef ecu wont fit. Different amount of pins. Get hold of an el ecu.

Plus if it's not an original XH XR6, you need to check whether the BBM solenoid has been wired in also.
