Hi newbie here, but I have a 2002 AU Forte which I've not had for long & have just noticed that there is brake fluid coming out of the brake booster unit where the MC joins & I think around the bottom edge.

Is there meant to be any fluid in these units & is there a gasket that could be causing this which might be easy to fix??

Any help would be appreciated.

Master Cylinder is leaking from the rear seal.

Either overhaul the Master Cylinder or replace it.

Damn was thinking that might be the problem!! It had been overfilled too so have drained some & hope that might make a difference- wishful thinking!
