Just go with the first one. The fibreglass packing in the hotdog will eventually stop muffling the sound anyway.

Ahhh, I remember being a teenager who drove old cars with loud exhausts that didn't go fast! :D The novelty will wear off when you have a girlfriend who doesn't like yelling over the noise, or the police pull you over and award you a canary...

The second exhaust you linked will be louder and 'angrier' than the 2 restrictive mufflers from the factory. Have you got extractors already?

Honestly, I had this system and had never heard of Supercat before. Had it on my 96 ef and it was awesome!! Standard cat and headers when I first put it on as well and all bolts up beautifully!! Did exactly what I wanted, gave it a good loud note without being all 'drone'y

Contact Jason from Tuff Car Parts, really helped me out and gave me a cheaper rate on the Victorian shipping and handling. Definitely recommend them.

See if you can pick up a standard 2.5" Tickford exhaust. Delete the middle muffler and fit a 100cell cat. job done. Will see a small gain from it too.
