Hey I have a 2004 Territory auto 4.0L and was wondering if anyone has an idea why the stereo control panel loses all power now and then?

{USERNAME} wrote: Hey I have a 2004 Territory auto 4.0L and was wondering if anyone has an idea why the stereo control panel loses all power now and then? there are numerous possibilities - have it scanned for fault codes ............ fault in ICC itself - or faulty connection at rear -has ICC been out ? try removing ICC - pull white dash plug towards you and refit ICC - ignition relay - in inside fuse box fault in fuse connection(6-19-20-28) faulty ignition switch - losing circuit that feeds accessories etc. fault in communication circuit -is anything else playing up at the same time loose wiring -anywhere in system - check plugs into fuse box at rear battery voltage may be dropping at times when starting due to a faulty battery do you only loose radio or fan controls as well what does it display ie. nothing-code ? |

Thanks mate I'll try doing this today
Yeah it loses everything fan/radio - clock when it comes back on its says code But still works without it - won't let you set the clock thou |
