Thanks Tim, that would help.
The fan relay seems to be mounted on the pcb but it is a little different to the series 2.
The thermocouple in the evaporator runs to the PCM as does the pressure switch.
Remember I am not running a PCM.
I think I have it sussed but a ser 1 diagram would confirm.

awesome..

I don't know if it matters, but the HIM module isn't really part of the mating process between the cluster, the BEM and the PCM.. the HIM sends and receives codes on the can bus (a couple of twisted wires that traverse the car.) but it doesn't much care what sends the signals. I can control my HVAC system by sending it codes using my phone or computer.. as long as the can bus is terminated properly you could plug it into a raspberry pi and conrol your hvac with any pc type device you like.

For interests sake, you got say photos of the interior and getting the heater system to fit and function?

Hi Guys
Here are a few pics of this project.
The 302 is from a 90 Bronco.(rear sump)
Transmission is BTR 97LE
EFI is Megasquirt.
Headers are AU cut up and reconstituted to fit around things.
Interior seats are BMW.
AU heater box can be seen insitu.
Steering box/column is R30 Nissan.
Brakes are GTR skyline 4 spot/XR8 rotors.
Still working on the wiring.
I will follow up with more info as I work on the ac/heater installation.
