Hey all,

I am after the weight of front and rear seats and dimensions so I can get some interior couriered.
The seat are out of a BA/BF XR8.
I have tryed to ask the person selling them but he can't be bothered to weigh them.
I am transporting them from VIC to ACT.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick

With the cost of couriering items like that, maybe it would be better to find a mate with a UTE and GO to Vic and get them?

Just a suggestion.

I would think you could be looking at between 40and 50kg each seat and they would have to be either placed on a pallet or boxed somehow and that would make them even MORE expensive. Most couriers charge by weight and Cubic measurement.

Got a quote this morning.
15 hour round trip + $150 fuel vs. $250 to get them couriered

Try various courier companies as they vary and i mean they vary a 50 dollor quote at one joint might be 90 at another joint.

Richard, i'm looking at doing the same, shipping an interior (BA Ghia).

Can you please tell me who you got the quote from, dimensions etc and how you were going to package them?

Cheers.
