Hi all, this weekend I changed my AU Falcons intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, and now since putting the engine (Inline 6) back together it will not run. it does start, but only just, it blows black smoke and neat fuel out of the exhaust and smells like its running very rich. I thought it may be timing but I took the rocker cover off again and the the timing mark is between the two yellow links. I do know that the passenger side timing chain tensioner plastic thing is broken, but it is still in place. The coil pack is nearly new and the timing light says each lead is sparking. The car sounds pretty much like a diesel with the way its running, I have a video but I don't know how to post it.
Cheers

Have you reconnected the MAP sensor?

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
All the electrical clips were reconnected, but I cant even start it now. Is there any way to test an injector? I think it could be some sort of fuel problem, but i'm guessing that the computer sets the fuel/air mixture?
Cheers
