Super slow progress as per usual.
Have plumbed the water lines to the heater core, just need to get a t piece for the oil line... Am having some difficulty getting the sump out for the drain line. The manifold and ticket cover have been sandblasted and sprayed in a heat proof black paint. All very slowly coming together. Also, I sold the twinlights as I decided I didn't like the look anymore.

Long story short, as far as I'm concerned, removing the sump without an engine hoist is impossible, so I rented one, unbolted driveshaft and tranny at the crossmember, and lifted the engine as much as I could without disconnecting the looks and fuel lines. From there I was able to squeeze it out the passenger side.
Drain feed and oil lines all plumbed in. Have the new fuel pump on the bench ready to go in over tge weekend. Getting close {DESCRIPTION}

Hey mate.
I hardly work on it these days unfortunately. I have basically everything except for an ecu though. About a month ago i started prepping it for a paint change though, which is something I had been wanting to do for a awhile. And then last Saturday I went to work on it and there is a big bloody tiger snake in the engine bay. Needless to say. I have steered clear for the week haha. Another problem, the rego expired, so I will have to return it to standard to get it over the pits, but that's no biggie, just another delay before she's on the road again

Yep that would be enough to keep you away for a bit!
Ah bugger about the rego. Hopefully you get it going eventually! |

J3 chip installed with a basic tune.. It's running
Fixed up the fuel pump mounting and added some longer fuel hose so it reaches far enough now. Next step is to prep for new paint. I've decided I no longer want the typhoon kit, so I've got a Fairmont front bar going on... Just need to trim it before fitting {DESCRIPTION}
