So my dads EL GLi wagon died the other day, replaced the TFI module yesterday afternoon, and had it running, whet to move the car today, and it wont start, has good spark and fuel, aux shaft is not stuffed, cant think of what else would cause it not to run? any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

do you have injector pulse
spray with startya bastard or similar
slow crank due to faulty starter or battery
fuel fouled plugs ?
what colour is spark ? should be blue
put a timing light on it so you can see it is firing the plugs and rough idea of timing(needs to be bridged to set )-
mark dist. position and adjust to see if it starts
valve timing -is it backfiring -
is dist. turning ?

try and see if you can start it with the keys in for 30min or more could be bcm
or tap the bottom of the dash as some people will and see if it starts this is because the solder on the bcm have cracked just need a good solder or find out what color it is and replace it
