Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any ideas on making an A pillar gauge pod for my BA xr8 as I can't seem to see anything for sale. The centre dash pod isn't an option as I've got luxury pack with the analog clock.

Kind regards,
Alex

Hello,

If it was my car, I would go with the Dash Pod. If you can get a triple, put a clock there. The more original your Car, the better resale value. ( genuine parts ) Less chance of a defect, or hand injuries in a crash. When an Air-Bag goes off, your hands are pushed from the steering wheel and go forward. I was hit in my EF about 20 years ago, popped the bag and I cut my knuckles on the A pillar. If I had a Pod there, it would have been a lot more than a cut knuckle.

In the BA / F there are the switch panels on the Dash. Fog and TC for example, you can get a small digital Volt meter and fit it where a blank is. ( LED display in a choice of colour for a few dollars on Ebay ) This will leave a double Pod for a Clock and Oil gauge.
