Hi everyone,

So i recently did a gearbox swap since my previous auto was smashing into gears. Had a second gearbox which I switched in, all sweet. After 100km, it's starting to not go into gear and will only select after I've given it some revs (around 2k). Though it may have been air pockets after doing swap and have continued to fill the box but its now full and still having the same issue. It will do this when ever I need to slow down. Once in gear, its fine and shifts fine. It's only occurring when its not under power. Does anyone know what may be the problem? Regards, Cameron

Hey there, I was thinking torque converter but have found that after driving the first 100m, the issue is no longer existent. So its not consistently slipping. It happens after the car has sat for awhile, and therefore I'm thinking its a pressure issue to the torque converter. Possibly the pump? or something else, not sure.
