Would a tune for more power mean worse fuel economy?

It can mean better fuel economy because it would be tuned for a specific "grade" of fuel 98....

So would a tune shorten the engine life because it's working harder or is it just working more efficiently? |

A tune is optimise your engine to its components. A good tune will actually extend its life and potential, a bad tune will certainly bring the inevitable along alot quicker.

Do you know what it will cost for a tune on the FG and what power increase are you expecting?
