I took time recently to clean out the ISC as it was occasionally sticking at high rpms on cold starts, but now after having cleaned it, when I do a cold start, the engine RPM shoots up to 2,000 rpm+ for about 20 ~ 30 seconds.
When the engine is warm, I have noticed that when I rev the motor in neutral, the rpm doesn't drop as quickly as it had normally done, it just comes down slower and eventually hits idle after a while. I am suspecting the ISC motor, maybe. Is the ISC body and motor the same for the I6 as the V8 ?

Hey Vic,
sixes are different. Have you done a self test? |

What's the procedure?
Btw, the standard ECU is gone, it runs a Wolf.

No EEC, No self test.

Fair enough.
In that case, is it just the ISC motor that is different between the 6 and the 8, or is it the actual ISC body itself, or both?

They're slightly different but you could recal. to suit anyway.
