Hi guys,
quick one for you all. Are the axles the same for wagons and sedans? I need to replace a bent axle in my EL wagon and am heading off to the wreckers during the week, which is why I ask, also any difference between EL or EF etc? Thanks in advance. |

L and R are different lengths, so make sure you get the correct side.
Plus if you have ABS, get one with a pulse ring. If you're going to use the bearing that's on it, make sure you get the outer shell, not wise to mix and match. Inspect the rollers, etc. The outer shell gets most loading at the top, so when you fit it to your car, fit it 180 deg - you'll see on the shell face where the rollers track - the loaded area will be wider.

Getting new bearings put on while I am at it. Better doing it right than going back and having to replace them later.
Thanks fo everyones help. |
