Was driving along and window just dropped think.still in rails and looks like the wire that raises it is everywhere inside any ideas

It is time for a new window regulator.Remove door trim .If you can push window back to the top you can put a block of wood to hold window up until you get it fixed.Short version is remove 10 mm bolts and nuts keeping reg in place .I think you remove the speaker as well.Remove 2 bolts holding reg to window.You may have to slide the window up and down to access the bolts.Slide window up and use wedges or gaffer tape to hold window up.Undo harness connector to motor.Remove reg being careful to not scratch the window.Reverse procedure to refit reg .It's been a while since I've done one but it is a fairly easy job to do.Cheers Kevman.
