You'll have to get it open somehow to get the door trim off... If you can't get the trim off you can't pull the lock out... You might be able to remove the door handle... Maybe the handle is off the rod... If you then pull the rod you might be able to get it to open... If not I think you'll need to destroy the door trim and replace it with one from a wrecker...
Cheers, Tim

It's like the child lock is on so won't open from inside and the handle won't open from outside

You're sorta up s**t creek then by the sounds...
Maybe the outside door handle has come off the rod (the plastic clip between the handle and the rod can break)... Maybe you break the outside handle off and hope you can get a pair of pliers in the hole to operate the rod... Maybe it is still hooked to the rod and you break the handle for no reason... Maybe the door locking actuator broke in the locked position and isn't unlocking... Maybe you cut a hole in the door trim and operate it by hand and then the outside handle begins working... If this were the case but the inside handle should unlock the door... Probably wont if child lock is on but... Maybe stick you each right where the lock is and see if you can hear/feel the locking actuator to ensure its working... If this is the case and appears to be functional you'll have to cut as much door trim off as you can and then try and break the lock inside the door... If the outside handle doesn't work and the inside handle doesn't work then nothing will help, you'll have to break the lock to get it to release... Unless someone knows a tricky way to get a tool inside the door gap and flip the child lock switch... Cheers, Tim

Like Tim said, if kiddie lock is on, you are shafted.
Take off the inside handle and pull the rod - maybe it's slipping through the plastic fitting when the handle is pulled.
